Advanced Gestalt in Organisations (GIO)
Our professional development programme is aimed at people who work to enable growth and change in organisations as leaders, managers, consultants, facilitators and coaches.
Our programme is intensive, challenging, rigorous and designed to further your understanding of complexity and change in organisations, as well as increasing your self-awareness of others and the organisational environment. Our focus is on learning about yourself and your functioning in the world of organisations as well as providing skills and ideas for improving your personal effectiveness.
What is Gestalt?
Gestalt psychology is a powerful philosophy and approach to working with people in organisations. Gestalt offers a unique and highly effective way of working with individuals, teams and whole organisations. Gestalt offers in-depth understanding and lasting interventions, rather than some other approaches, which focus on quick fixes that are often short lived. It is indeed a whole new way of thinking about the world of people and organisations.

What previous participants have said
"The effect and change that the programme had on me was profound. I had previously attended many development events of all kinds and I can only say that I wish I'd discovered Gestalt much earlier in my career. If I returned now to the role of HR director, I have no doubt that I would be significantly more effective in understanding and bringing about change in individuals, teams and organisations.
In simple terms Gestalt helped to make sense of what in happening. I continue to use my Getstalt leaning and experience working with boards/top teams and coaching senior executives and directors". Alan Scott - Retired HR director of a FSTE company
"As a person I think the approach has helped me build self-awaress and confidence in how I work and how I am generally in the world. It has helped me be more fully present in my work and to be more my authentic self, thus increasing my personal power, I believe." Audrey Birt - Director of Diabetes Scotland
