Who we are
The centre for Gestalt in organisations is a social enterprise established to develop, promote and use Gestalt and other associated means of achieving effectiveness in organisations.
We do this in three ways: providing personal development programmes, publications and consultancy.
There are five of us involved in the enterprise at this time -
Trevor Bentley - Trevor describes himself as a corporate spellcracker. In this role his fun and joy is in working with Chief executives and executive teams to crack the spells that keep them spellbound in old inappropriate practices. He has a compelling and creative approach to his work. He has taught on a number of MBA programmes and has worked at Board level with large and small organisations in over 20 countries focusing in particular on inspirational leadership. Trevor has a PhD in organisational development and is a chartered management accountant. He is a trained Gestalt practitioner and a professional writer, having published over 30 books and many articles on management, leadership and business.|
Howard Boorman - Howard's passion is working with a Gestalt approach in organisations, while having fun and making a real difference. He focuses on drawing out solutions from within by acting like an organisational gardener: planting questions, digging up ideas, nurturing growth and helping organisations harvest the fruits of a more people-centred approach. Before becoming an organisational gardener, Howard spent 25 years as a trainer, senior manager, facilitator and consultant. He has qualifications in Adult Education, Corporate Management and Gestalt Therapy. He's had several articles published including "The Gestalt of Future Search" and "Leading with Heart and Soul".|
Lucy Hatchell - Lucy is a director of Sheppard Moscow and lives in Scotland. She has worked as an organisation consultant for over 17 years and participated in the Gestalt in Organisations programme from 2002-4. With direct industry experience in financial services, energy and economic regeneration, she now consults to a wide range of client organisations in the UK and overseas on varying assignments including executive coaching, leadership development, senior team/group dynamics, culture change and building consulting capability in others. Outside her consulting she is passionate about travel, horse riding and being out in the fresh air.|
Jeff Lane - Jeff has been practicing as a counsellor, psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer for thirteen years. For the last seven years he has become increasingly interested in organisational development and fascinated by exploring ways in which he can bring his therapeutic skills into organisational settings. Jeff has trained for three years with Gestalt in Organisations. He enjoys supporting people as they discover and work with their creativity. Jeff celebrates diversity and passion in himself and others and his own hobbies, passions and interests include agricultural history, walking, cycling, performing stand up comedy and playing the ukulele.|
Warren Scott - Warren is a facilitator with over 20 years experience of developing individuals, teams and organisations. During this time he has worked alongside a number of leading Gestalt therapists and consultants. He trained in Gestalt with Gestalt South West, Metanoia and the Gestalt in Organisations programme. He currently works as an organisational consultant and trainer applying Gestalt principles and approaches to enabling people, teams and organisations to develop and learn. He particularly enjoys working with the paradox of change, being rather than doing, authenticity and the Gestalt cycle.|
